Obaseki appoints Observer GM as Permanent Secretary

Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has appointed the Acting General Manager of the Bendel Newspapers Company Limited (BNCL), Barrister Solomon Imohosien as a Permanent Secretary.

DailyNewsFocusngr reports, that Bendel Newspapers Company Limited (BNCL) is the publishers of the Observer titles.

Solomon, is among the nine new permanent secretaries approved for appointment by the governor.

A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Osarodion Ogie, listed the appointed Permanent Secretaries to include Iryn Ekhorose Omorogiuwa, Nyamali Joseph Erumuse, Igbinomwnhia Naps Abieyuwa, Efosa Aisien.

Others are Imoihosen Solomon Oziegbe, Peter Aibuedefe Osagie, Sabina A. Chikere, Osawemuenze Edith  Kayode-Iyasere and Bernard  Aigbe.

The statement said the date for the swearing-in of the appointees will be announced later.

DailyNewsFocusngr, recall that Dan Aigbavboa, Lucky Wasa, Jose Isede among others journalists have been appointed as Permanent Secretaries in the state.

The governor had January 25, 2022 sworn- in 14 new permanent secretaries.

The newly sworn-in permanent secretaries include Mr. Anelu Osemen, Mrs. Felicia Edwards, Mrs. Grace Aihie, Mr. Egwakhide Gilbert, Mr. Iserhienrhien Efe and Mr. Aikhuomobhogbe Uidia.

Others are Mr. Asibor Lucky, Mrs. Igbinobaro Joy, Mr. Washington Abbe, Mr. Asemota Uyi, Mr. Toritseju Onaiwu, Mrs. Ifueko Alufokhai, Mr. Osikhena Ojior and Mrs. Barbara Osobajo.
